Local Area Planning

Successifully developed comprehensive and participatory Local Area Plans for Meheba and Mayukwayukwa Settlement Schemes to enhance local agriculture productivity and promote local economic development through enhanced value chains. The process which focused on the provisions of the URP Act was participatory focusing on the local needs and pooled various stakeholders and funders to mobilise resources to achieve the planned activities. The process was highly participatory from local data collection, analysis and information dessimination for project ownership and sustainability.
